Top Ten 90s TV Themes - Honorable Mention Pt. 2

I figured what better hump day surprise then the back end of the Honorable Mention for our Top Ten 90s TV Themes countdown.  We'll have a new Your Comedy Moment later in the day, Number 10 on the countdown tomorrow, and a special 100th post of the blog on Friday.  Watch out world, I'm planning things ahead of time!*
*Note: Wanted to remind all the readers that we're avoiding children's television shows in this category as we'll delve into those at a later date.

Seinfeld - Though there isn't really an intro to accompany this song, I would be quite remiss to leave it out of the discussion entirely.  In fact, I think it may be the one tune on the list that you can play the first two notes of and be immediately recognized by anyone. Infectious, memorable, and surprisingly complicated - the theme to Seinfeld definitely deserves a spot with the honorable mention.

Married with Children - Juxtaposition at its best, "Love and Marriage" by Frank Sinatra coupled with scenes from the Bundy family.  It was hard to leave the song off the list just because of the association to Old Blue Eyes, but the fact that Christina Applegate has a prolonged presence in the intro made it even more difficult.  From the iconic opening shot of Buckingham Fountain to the closing look on Ed O'Neil's face, I dig the hell out of this song and its use in the show.

Doogie Howser M.D. - These next two themes are sort of similar in style but unique enough to both qualify for the honorable mention.  With Doogie the music matches the theme perfectly, it sounds like the type of song someone may have listened to while looking through a scrapbook and remembering old times.  There was also something medicinal to the theme that suits the show as well.

Quantum Leap - Well if you didn't know I was a geek before, now you're shaking your head wondering how it took you so long to figure that out.  I'm using the version here that includes the entire intro to the show as well because it really sets the tune. Fast forward about a minute into it if you want to get right to the music.  This song was the hardest to keep out of the Top Ten; but looking at the remaining list I think I made the right decision.

Use the comments to discuss any of the songs mentioned over the last couple days or potential songs you see in the Top Ten.
