Though I have been unable to post anything of note today because of other obligations, I wanted to post a link to this blog. It will take you to "Kung Fu Monkey," the personal blog of Leverage creator John Rogers.
Leverage is a show that I avoided like the plague because of TNT's incessant publicizing of it over its first two seasons. However, after taking some time to watch the Season Three episode "The Reunion Job," I found myself thoroughly entertained. In fact, I was so intrigued by the show that I plowed through the previous two seasons almost immediately.
"Kung Fu Monkey" provides the creator (sometimes writer, sometimes director) of the show to interact directly with fans. Rogers gives details of deleted scenes, relays further explanations for elements of the episode that viewers may have misses and reveals easter eggs hidden throughout. Additionally, he takes the time to answer numerous questions from the fans (regardless of how ignorant they may come across). I will write more on Leverage in the near future as I think it is woefully undiscussed. Until then, enjoy the blog for its unique, personal insight into a television show's production.
